Eligibility Requirements
A registered voter and resident of the district. A person may not be an employee of the school district and a governing board member at the same time.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 1% or 2% of 1st year's salary of office as stated in Elections Code Signature Requirement: Not less than 20 nor more than 30 voters in a city of 1,000 registered voters or more, and not less than five nor more than 10 voters in a city of less than 1,000 registered voters, but only one candidate may be named in any one nomination paper.
