Eligibility Requirements
Registered elector, Primary resident and registered elector of the City and a primary resident of the district represented. To be eligible to hold City Elective Office,a person shall have resided within the City at the time of election or appointmentfor one (1) year immediately preceding such election or appointment. For those holdingthe office of Councilmember, a person shall have resided within the district he representsfor one (1) year immediately preceding election or appointment.
