Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, at least 21 years of age, have been a registered elector within the city for at least one year immediately preceding the election, and have continuously resided in the District from which he or she is to be elected since the date of accepting any nomination for election.
Filing Requirements
No filing fee. Signature requirement of at least 25 residents of the candidate's district.
