The U.S. House of Representatives is one of two chambers for the federal legislature. Representatives begin the legislation process, offer amendments, and serve on committees.
Representative must be at least twenty-five years old, have been a citizen of the United States for at least seven years, and be an inhabitant of the state they seek to represent.
Filing Requirements
Signature requirement is 1500 or 10% of votes cast in previous primary election (whichever is less) (major party); 1,500 or 2.5% of votes cast in previous general election (whichever is less) (minor party/unaffiliated)
