The County Surveyor is responsible for administering the county land survey records, re-establishing and maintaining the official government survey monuments, and reviewing property boundaries surveys and subdivision plans.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a registered elector who is at least 18 years of age, a professional land surveyor, and have been a resident of the district for at least 1 year prior to the election.
Filing Requirements
No filing fee. Petition signature requirements: at least 20% of the votes cast in the previous primary election for that office. If there was no primary, 20% of the votes cast at most recent General Election where there was a candidate for that office (Major party candidates); 750 or 2% of the votes cast, whichever is less for all candidates for that office in the most recent General Election (Minor party and unaffiliated candidates).
