Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must be a registered elector who has resided within the Town limits for at least twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election; except that, in case of an annexation to the Town, any person who has resided within the annexed territory for the time prescribed herein shall be deemed to have met the residence requirements for the Town. If any Trustee moves from or becomes, during the term of his or her office, a nonresident of the Town, he or she shall be deemed thereby to have vacated his or her office.
