How to run for Delegate to the U.S. House

Meet eligibility requirements
Representative must be be a qualified elector in the District, at least twenty-five years old, hold no other paid public office, and have resided in the District of Columbia continuously since the beginning of the three-year period ending on the date of the general or special election.

- Filing fee is $0; signature requirement of 2,000, or 1% of registered voters in the same party as the candidate, whichever is less (primary); 3,000, or 1.5% of registered voters, whichever is less (general)
