How to run for City Council
- Step 1
Meet eligibility requirements
Candidate for City Mayor or City Council must: be a citizen of the State of Delaware and a resident of the City of New Castle and have resided in the City for two years before the election and at the time of the election must be a qualified voter of the City, be at least 21 years of age as of the date of the election and have never been convicted of a felony in accordance with State of Delaware and City of New Castle Code.
