City Legislature in Blades, Sussex County, Delaware

Candidate must be a bona fide citizen of the United States and of the State of Delaware and a resident of the Town of Blades for at least six (6) months next preceding the Annual Municipal Election. (b) At least twenty-five (25) years of age; and (c) Each of the qualifications for the Mayor and the Town Councilman shall be continuing qualifications to hold office and the failure of either the Mayor or any of the Town Councilmen to have any of the qualifications required by this Section during his term of office shall create a vacancy in the office. (d) For all purposes of this Charter, the word "freeholder" shall be deemed to include any person who holds fee simple title to real estate either in his own name, as a tenant in common, as a joint tenant, or as a tenant by the entirety.
