Only qualified electors who have dwelled in the city continuously for at least a year may run
Filing Requirements
Candidates must fill DS-DE 9 and DS-DE 84 forms and a fee of $25. Candidates may seek nomination by petition in lieu of the filing fee: they will need to secure the signature of 1% of the registered voters in their district and complete form DS-DE 104 as well as pay a verification fee of 10 cents per signature.
