Eligibility Requirements
Only registered electors who have lived in the city continuously for at least two years may run
Filing Requirements
Candidates must submit the following forms: DS-DE 9, DS-DE 25, DS-DE 84, CE-1 forms (available from the Florida Board of Elections website). In addition, they must submit an affidavit of residency, a petition signed by at least 25 qualified Destin electors and a filing fee of $25.
