Eligibility Requirements
Qualified elector (registered voter) of Florida; Completed the necessary candidate qualifying documents and either paid the qualifying fee for the position sought or collected the number of petition signatures required for position sought; Registered member of the political party for which he/she is qualifying. (Persons qualifying for offices that are nonpartisan, write-in or running with no party affiliation are not affected by this requirement.) Has not been a registered member of any other political party for 365 days (June 18, 2017) before the beginning of qualifying.
