How to run for Mayor

Meet eligibility requirements
Each candidate seeking the office of Mayor or City Commissioner shall be a qualified elector and shall have resided within the city limits for over one consecutive year immediately prior to the time for qualifying for office.

- Filing Fee:$25 plus 1% of the annual salary of the office sought. Petition signature requirement: 1% of the registered electors of the city as shown by the compilation by the Supervisor of Elections for the last preceding general election.
