Eligibility Requirements
Must have been a resident of the area comprising the corporate limits of the City of Surrency for a continuous period of at least 12 months immediately prior to the date of election, shall continue to reside therein during that person's period of service, and shall continue to be registered and qualified to vote in municipal elections of the City of Surrency.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 3% of gross salary from the prior year; petition signature requirement of 1 percent of the total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last election for the specific office if unable to pay filing fee.
