Must have been a resident of this town for 12 months immediately preceding the election of mayor or councilmembers; each such person shall continue to reside within the town during that person's period of service and shall be registered and qualified to vote in municipal elections of this town.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 3% of gross salary from the prior year; petition signature requirement of 1 percent of the total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last election for the specific office if unable to pay filing fee.
