Must have been a resident of the city for 6 months prior to the date of election; shall have attained the age of 21 years prior to the date of election; shall continue to reside in the city during that member's period of service; and shall be registered and qualified to vote in municipal elections of this city.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 3% of gross salary from the prior year; petition signature requirement of 1 percent of the total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last election for the specific office if unable to pay filing fee.
