Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of the county they are running in for at least 2 years, a registered voter, at least 25 years old, have obtained a high school diploma, and not have been convicted of a felony.
Filing Requirements
Candidates must file a Notice of Candidacy, pay a filing fee of 3% of position salary; there is no signature requirement.
