Eligibility Requirements
Must be a resident of the City for a continuous period of 12 months prior to the start of the qualifying period. Must be a resident of the City during their period of service. Must be registered and qualified to vote in municipal elections of the City. Must not have been convicted of a felony at the time of qualification or during the period of service.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 3% of gross salary from the prior year; petition signature requirement of 1 percent of the total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last election for the specific office if unable to pay filing fee.
