Eligibility Requirements
Must be a citizen of the United States, have been a resident and qualified elector of the consolidated government for at least 2 years prior to the date of his or her election, and shall be at least 25 years of age when elected to office.
Filing Requirements
Filing Fee: 3% of gross salary from the prior year; petition signature requirement of 1 percent of the total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last election for the specific office if unable to pay filing fee.
