City Legislature in Boston, Thomas County, Georgia

Must have been a resident of this city for 12 months immediately preceding the election; each such person shall continue to reside within the city during that person's period of service and to be registered and qualified to vote in municipal elections of this city. Must meet the qualification standards required for members of the state House of Representatives: Must be a citizen of the United States, Shall be at least 21 years of age, and Shall have been a citizen of Georgia for at least two years.

Filing Fee: 3% of gross salary from the prior year; petition signature requirement of 1 percent of the total number of registered voters eligible to vote in the last election for the specific office if unable to pay filing fee.
