Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be at least 21 years of age, a licensed attorney-at-law in Illinois, a registered voter, and a resident of the district.
Filing Requirements
No filing fee; Signature requirement At least .4% (.004) of the number of votes cast in that district for the candidate for their political party for the office of Governor at the last General Election at which a Governor was elected, but in no event less than 500 signatures
