The City Clerk/Ward Officer serves as the official keeper of the municipal records. This joint position is also responsible for presenting the agenda and minutes for legislative and committee meetings.
Qualified elector/registered voter. A person is not eligible to take the oath of office for a municipal office if that person is, at the time required for taking the oath of office, in arrears in the payment of a tax or other indebtedness due to the municipality or has been convicted in any court located in the United States of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury, or other felony. Filing Requirements
No Filing fee. Signature requirements: For the Consolidated Election, not less than 5% nor more than 8% (or 50 more than the minimum, whichever is greater) of the number of persons who voted at the last regular election in the district or political subdivision in which such district or political subdivision voted as a unit for the election of officers to serve its respective territorial area.
