Eligibility Requirements
Qualified elector/registered voter. A person is not eligible to serve as park commissioner if that person is in arrears in the payment of a tax or other indebtedness due to the park district or has been convicted in any court located in the United States of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury, or other felony. // Commissioner must be resident of the Park District at least one year prior to the election.
Filing Requirements
No Filing Fee. Signature Requirement: 2% of the number of ballots cast at the last election for this office. In no event shall the number of required signatures be less than 25.
