The County Coroner or Medical Examiner is responsible for inquiring into the cause and manner of death of a citizen in their jurisdiction. The County Coroner or Medical Examiner is also responsible for completing test results, documenting evidence, completing autopsies, and providing testimonies.
Candidate must be at least 24 years of age and a citizen of Kentucky. Must have resided in the State at least 2 years at time of election and in county/district at least 1 year next preceding election.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee: $50. Signature requirement: candidate's signature & signature of at least 2 registered voters of same party from the district/jurisdiction from which candidate seeks nomination.
