Must be at least 30 years old and have been a citizen and resident of Kentucky for at least 6 years next preceding election
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $500; signature requirement of 2 registered voters of the same party from the district or jurisdiction from which candidate seeks nomination (Democrat and Republican) or 5,000 signatures (independent).
