Eligibility Requirements

Candidate must have been a resident of Louisiana for the preceding 2 years and lived in the parish for 1 year by the time of qualifying.

Filing Requirements

Filing fee: $225, plus $112.50 State Central Committee fee from each Democratic and Republican candidate, plus additional $112.50 from each D and R candidate if assessed by Parish Committee. Petition signature requirement: 400.
