Eligibility Requirements
Candidates shall have resided in the Town for at least one (1) year preceding the election and shall be qualified voters of the Town. A person who has been convicted of a felony or has received a dishonorable discharge from the military service of the United States shall not be eligible for an elected office.

No filing fee. Petition signature requriement: Independent candidates only: At least 1% of the eligible voters for the district in which the candidate seeks the nomination..
