Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must have resided in the town for at least 1 year preceding the election and must maintain principal residence in the town throughout term. Candidate must be a qualified voter of the town. Candidate must be free of any record of criminal violations other than minor traffic violations and other such minor misdemeanors (punishable by fine only). Candidate must be at least 25 years of age.
