Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must have resided in the town and ward from which elected for at least 1 year immediately preceding election. Candidate must maintain permanent residence in the town and ward throughout term. Candidate must be a qualified voter of the town. Candidate must not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving misconduct in office or a crime of moral turpitude involving the duties of any public office or employment.
