Eligibility Requirements
Each elected official of the City shall have attained the age of at least twenty-five (25) years, must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of the City of New Carrollton and a registered voter of the State of Maryland and of the City. Candidates for elected office must be a resident of the City of New Carrollton for a minimum of one hundred eighty (180) days immediately preceding the filing deadline for candidacy.
