Candidate must have resided in the state of Maryland and within the corporate limits of the town for at least 2 years immediately preceding election. Candidate must be a qualified voter of the town. Candidate must be at least 21 years of age. Candidate must not have been convicted of a felony and must be a U.S. citizen.
