Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must have resided in the town for at least 1 year prior to election and must maintain permanent residence in the town throughout term. Candidate must reside in the voting district from which elected. Candidate must be a qualified voter of the town. Candidate must not have been convicted of a felony or of embezzlement, bribery, extortion, subornation of perjury, treason, or perjury.
