The board of selectmen serves as the executive arm of the government, administering, enforcing, and carrying out the decisions made by the town meeting. State laws grant the board some legislative powers as well when it comes to regulating vehicles, public ways, and public property.

Must be a resident of and registered voter in the Town, at least 18 years of age, and a citizen of the United States. No Selectman or his/her spouse shall hold any other compensated Town office or be employed by the Town, during the term for which he/she was elected to the Board of Selectmen

Filing Fee = $0; petition signature requirement of 25 signatures.
