Is not delinquent in the payment of any state income taxes, personal property taxes, municipal taxes, real property taxes on the place of residence as stated in the declaration of candidacy. Is not a past or present corporate officer of any fee office that owes any taxes to the state. Has not been found guilty of or pled guilty to a felony or misdemeanor under the federal laws of the United States of America. Has not been found guilty of or pled guilty to a felony under the laws of this state or an offense committed in another state that would be considered a felony in this state. Over 21 years of age. Registered voter. Resident of the county 1 year next preceding election

Show Identification; Complete the Form 5120 Candidate's Affidavit of Tax Payments for the Department of Revenue; Complete the Notice to Candidate Personal Financial Disclosure for the Missouri Ethics Commission; File a Declaration of Candidacy; and Submit a $50.00 filing fee (cash or check) payable to the County Central Committee for the State or Party in which they are filing. Independent candidates must further submit a petition with a number of signatures equal to at least 2% of the total number of voters who voted at the last election for candidates for the office being sought (or 10,000 whichever is less).
