Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age. Candidate must be qualified voter in county for at least 3 years next preceding election and resident of district for at least 1 year next preceding election.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee: $50. Petition signature requirement: 2% of the total number of voters who voted at the last election for candidates for the office being sought or equal to 10,000 voters, whichever is less. .
