Eligibility Requirements
Shall be at least twenty-one years of age, a registered voter, and a resident of the state of Missouri as well as the county in which he or she is a candidate for at least one year prior to the date of the general election.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee: $50. Independent candidates must also submit a petition with signatures from 2% of the total number of voters who voted at the last election for candidates for the office being sought or 10,000 voters, whichever is less.
