Eligibility Requirements
Citizen of the United States. Resident of the state one year next preceding the election. Registered voter and Resident of the county.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee: $50. Independent candidates must also submit a petition with signatures from 2% of the total number of voters who voted at the last election for candidates for the office being sought or 10,000 voters, whichever is less.
