The County Emergency/911/Central Dispatch Board is responsible for system planning, coordination, liaison with 9-1-1 vendors, public education, resolving disputes between agencies and/or municipalities for the 9-1-1 system, and budgetary preparation, submission, and supervision of 9-1-1 funds.
A candidate for the office of ambulance district director shall, at the time of filing, be a citizen of the United States, a qualified voter of the election district in which they are a candidate, a resident of the district for two years next preceding the election, and shall be at least twenty-four years of age.
