Not in arrears for Any taxes, lien, forfeiture, or defalcation in office, municipal user feed. Must never have been convicted, found guilty, or plead guilty to a felony or misdemeanor under the federal laws of the United States. Have no outstanding campaign disclosure reports due from any prior elections.

Show Identification; Complete the Form 5120 Candidate's Affidavit of Tax Payments for the Department of Revenue; Complete the Notice to Candidate Personal Financial Disclosure for the Missouri Ethics Commission; File a Declaration of Candidacy; and Submit a $50.00 filing fee (cash or check) payable to the County Central Committee for the State or Party in which they are filing. Independent candidates must further submit a petition with a number of signatures equal to at least 2% of the total number of voters who voted at the last election for candidates for the office being sought (or 10,000 whichever is less).
