About this position
State Representatives are members of the state's lower chamber, as part of the state's bicameral legislature. Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be a qualified elector of the state for 4 years, at least 21 years old, and a resident of the district or territory represented for two years before election.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $250 for all candidates; Signature requirement for independent candidates wishing to get on general election ballot without partisan primary is 50 qualified electors.
