18 years of age; US citizen; registered to vote; resident of the city for at least 60 days preceding the election. (Mont. Const. Art. IV §4; 7-4-4401, MCA; City of Helena Charter Art. II §2.01)

- Filing Fee of 68. If candidate is unable to pay filing fee; they must submit a petition containing signatures totalling 5% of the vote cast for the successful candidate for the same office at the last general election.
