Soil and Water District Board-Watershed Improvement District Board in Alleghany County, North Carolina

Candidate must be a registered voter qualified to vote in an election for the office sought, at least 21 years of age as of the date of the general election, and not be serving an active felony sentence, including any period of probation or parole.

Filing fee is $5. Petition signature requirement (in lieu of fee) is 5% of the registered voters in the election area in which the office will be voted for. Any qualified voter may sign the petition.
