Eligibility Requirements

The candidates must be citizens of the United States, qualified North Dakota voters, at least 30 years of age, and resided in North Dakota for the five years preceding the election to office.

Filing Requirements

Filing Fee is $0; signature requirement of 3% of the total votes cast for the candidates for the same office and carrying the same political party affiliation at the last general election or 300 signatures (major party); signature requirement of 1,000 (independent)
