Eligibility Requirements
Candidate must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of Nebraska for at least six months, a resident of the district which they are running to represent for at least six months, and may not be an active teacher or a holder of any state office or a member of a state board or commission.
Filing Requirements
Filing fee is $25; Signature requirement is 10% of total voters who voted for Governor or President at the most recent statewide election, not to exceed 2,000.
