City Legislature in Blue Hill, Douglas County, Nebraska

Must be registered voters and residents of the respective district; in a county having more than four hundred thousand inhabitants as determined by the most recent federal decennial census, must have resided within the district he or she seeks to represent for at least six months immediately prior to the date on which he or she is required to file as a candidate for such office.

Filing fee is 1% of the office's annual salary, no filing fee for a salary of less than $500 per year. If filing by petiton, then signature requirement is 10% of the total number of registered voters voting for Governor or President of the United States at the immediately preceding general election in the district or political subdivision in which the officer is to be elected, not to exceed 2,000
