The Big Meadow Conservation District is a unit of state government that provides advice and counsel on natural resource issues. The District provides guidance and sets priorities for technical assistance of the cooperating agencies. Purpose is to provide technical assistance and services to the private sector and public agencies through education and management programs to promote wise use of resources.
18 years of age. Each board member must be a resident of the district from which he is elected for at least 30 days before filing declaration of candidacy for the office.
Filing Requirements
The County Clerk, or the Registrar of Voters in Clark and Washoe Counties, is the filing officer for county and township offices and for any offices elected from districts completely within one county or part of one county. Filing fee is $100.
