Representative must be at least twenty-five years old, have been a citizen of the United States for at least seven years, and be an inhabitant of the state they seek to represent.
Filing Requirements
filing fee is $85; signature requirement is 50 for major parties, 25 for minor recognized parties, Based on the number of votes cast in the congressional district in the last general election for governor for Independent candidates.

Submit paperwork to the Board of Elections office of the most populous county within the district.
