About this position
The Auditor serves as the chief fiscal officer, chief assessor and sealer of weights and measures. As fiscal officer, the auditor is responsible for maintaining financial records, exhibiting accurate statements of all monies received and expended, all property owned by the city and the income derived therefrom, and all taxes and assessments.

Must be 18 years old as of date of the general election; must be resident of the township; must be registered elector in the township
Filing Requirements
Complete a nominating petition and statement of candidacy. There is a $30 filing fee. A candidate must collect 25 valid signatures. Check with your local County Board of Elections for petition and additional information.
