Eligibility Requirements
Must be a registered voter and resident of county one year prior to the election. The candidate must be a registered appraiser or an appraiser trainee; have two years accounting experience or two years employment in an appraiser’s office; and be certified to be eligible by the Dept. of Revenue.
Filing Requirements
$50 or the lesser of either 500 signatures or 1% of the number of votes cast in the district for governor at the last election at which the Governor was elected to a full term.
