How to run for City Council

Meet eligibility requirements
Must be a qualified elector, a resident within the city limits for 12 months immediately prior to the election, and a resident of the ward for which they file

- File form SEL 101 and file by petition with at least 20 signatures of registered voters within the ward with form SEL 121 (must be approved before circulating) [note: all signatures must be numbered and verified by the city elections official and filed with SEL 338]
